⠀⠀⠀⠀Solution for determining specificity of donor and / or recipient tissues by the NGS method when creating bone marrow donor registries. This set allows the qualitative determination of alleles of HLA genes (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, HLA-DRB1, HLA-DQB1) in 3-field resolution to allow the detection of new alleles. ⠀⠀⠀⠀Kit includes library prep reagents, MiSeq sequencing reagents and access to PARallele™ HLA Software for all data analysis and reporting stages
Reduction of quantification and normalisation steps for samples and libraries

⠀⠀⠀⠀HLA antigens play an important role in the regulation of immune response to foreign antigens, determining the uniqueness of a person's tissue type and controlling the rejection of foreign tissues during transplantation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀In a clinical setting, HLA genotyping is used to determine the tissue specificity of the donor and recipient in order to select a histocompatible pair for allogeneic organ or tissue transplantation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀The most common need for finding a donor is to obtain hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) for transplantation of red bone marrow (RBM). HSC transplantation is an effective method for treating oncohaematological and other oncological and hereditary diseases.
⠀⠀⠀⠀For the selection of donor-recipient pairs, specialised HSC donor register databases are created. HLA typing of potential donors and entering data into the register is carried out by specialised clinical diagnostic laboratories (J. Filipiak et al., Organization and Development of Bone Marrow Donation and Transplantation in Poland, 2015).
⠀⠀⠀⠀For the creation of registers and selection of donors, it is recommended to carry out typing at 5 loci (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, HLA-DQB1, HLA-DRB1)¹ at 3-field resolution² ...
